Recorded Delivery

Recorded Delivery was founded by Alecky Blythe in 2003, after she learnt an innovative verbatim techniqueto create plays from Mark Wing-Davey at the Actors Centre.
The company was subsequently offered the space to create their first show Come Out Eli which was presented as a work in progress at the Tristan Bates Theatre where it secured a run at the Arcola.
After its success, winning the Time Out Award 2004 for The Best Production on the Fringe and transferring to BAC for the Critics Choice Season, Recorded Delivery have become a resident company at the Actors Centre, where they continue to receive invaluable support and Arts Council funding to develop new work.
The shows they have since created under this residency include All the Right People Come Here at the New Wimbledon Studio 2005, Cruising at The Bush Theatre in 2006 and The Girlfriend Experience as part of the Royal Court Rough Cuts Season 2007 from which a full production has been commisioned for September 2008
